Our Founding Journey

Lil’ Patriots Academy was founded by Patti and Dave McMullan, a dedicated couple with a profound commitment to education and community growth. With over two decades of dedicated service as a counselor in the Puyallup School District, Patti has had the opportunity to be a guiding light for countless young minds, nurturing their growth and development every step of the way. Her journey took a bold turn when she decided to acquire the academy, seeing it as a haven where children could thrive, learning becomes an adventure, and every child's potential is celebrated.

Meet the Founders

Alongside Patti is Dave, her husband of over 30 years. For over three decades, they have been each other's rock, navigating life's journey hand in hand. While Patti's expertise is in education and child development, Dave infuses the center with his love of history. It was his creative vision that gave birth to our captivating name and logo, each element thoughtfully crafted to reflect the essence of learning and discovery. Their grandchildren also attend Lil' Patriots Academy, underscoring their deep personal investment in the quality and environment of the center.
